For the past 31 years »Interior Design« magazine has published a list of the world’s best interior architects. Since 2015 Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz have joined it.

Interior Design – Hall of Fame 2015

New York / December 2015

On 2 December 2015, Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz were the first German interior architects to be admitted to Interior Design’s prestigious ›Hall of Fame‹. A tremendous honour, which is accorded to only a small handful of designers each year. They join the ranks of such legendary designers and design role models as Warren Platner, Art Gensler, Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck, Ingo Maurer, Antonio Citterio, David Rockwell, John Pawson, Shigeru Ban – to name but a few. And as our film shows, we celebrated this prestigious accolade in fitting style.
The ›Hall of Fame‹, New York, the ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria, 1300 guests! These moments are very special to a studio that prefers to let its work talk rather than deliver long speeches.

It’s our evening and it’s her show: Cindy Allen, Editor-in-Chief of Interior Design.

»There isn’t a nook or cranny in design and architecture they are not interested in. Their appetite for new problems, new discoveries, new challenges, and new good fights, is nothing less than gargantuan.«

Editor in Chief at Interior Design

»Form follows the identity of our clients, and we absolutely love to let us seduce by a project into unknown territory. Almost every day, we meet a new idea of life, a new business model, a new culture – isn’t it an amazing profession?«

A sight to behold: The ceiling of Schorndorf Town Hall is the key visual of the evening.

We know that our clients are unique, they’re daring and they’re not scared to take risks: a big thank you to all of our clients, many of them have actually become friends, thank you for your trust.
