The ceiling is painted in different shades of grey with a narrow lighting strip providing the necessary illumination. An adjacent orange band implements the Corporate Design guidelines, while acting as a separator between the waiting and consultation areas. The consultant’s desk resembles a desk you would find in a private setting, rather than the more commonly encountered sterile counter. As a result, customer and consultant meet as equals. The white table top has an artificial leather insert, which forms a tie between the customer and the consultant, while also improving the spatial acoustics. Above the work station hangs a box in the CD shade of red, which contains the consultation situation in a spatial sense and makes it visible from a distance. Set into the underside of the box is a luminous ceiling with additional acoustic properties thanks to micro-perforations.
We help the leading Swiss health insurer take a healthy attitude: thinking from the customer’s perspective.

Switzerland's leading medical insurance company follows a bold approach to the demands of the market and the needs of its customers. A complete rethink of the sales points at hitherto 14 locations was made as part of a comprehensive undertaking: from an initial analytical phase to conception and constructional realisation. The Corporate Design concept »Band fürs Leben« (Tie for Life) is formally adopted in the ceiling design of the entrance and waiting areas.
