The building is a multi-faceted object with a continuous metal skin, reflecting portions of the surrounding, the sky and the sea. Its outside is as divers and shows as many faces as the mix of activities and the addressed audience will be. It appears self-conscious and dynamic, making a strong commitment to the further development of the Odderøya cultural center with the aim of building an attraction for both the professional users as well as a broad audience. At the same time it is a sensitive and alluring and has a clear cultural connotation. The promise is an exceptional art experience in a stimulating and generous atmosphere, appropriate to the site on the shore and to the city of Kristiansand.
